Since our inception, we have focused on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions across construction, energy, and infrastructure, even in the most challenging environments.

Our Story: Driven by Vision and Innovation
At the heart of Diversified Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd is the entrepreneurial spirit of Parthiv S. Mehta. After returning from the United States in 2009, Parthiv combined his academic background as an Industrial Engineer with an unyielding passion for innovation. His vision was clear: to revolutionize India’s energy sector and contribute to nation-building projects—transforming not only power solutions but also the very infrastructure that defines modern India.
Parthiv’s journey is both inspiring and challenging. Leaving behind a familiar life in the US, he embraced the opportunities and obstacles that came with establishing a company in the remote terrains of Odisha. With dreams of constructing large buildings, flyovers, and bridges, his bold move was rooted in the belief that the growth and progress of India should not be confined to metropolitan cities alone.
Our Journey
In those formative years, every challenge Parthiv faced only strengthened his resolve. His pioneering efforts laid the cornerstone for the company’s sustainable growth and diversified approach. Parthiv’s vision has consistently driven the company forward, making Diversified Energy Solutions a trusted partner in redefining energy and infrastructure in the region. Parthiv started the company with Shivam Patnaik as a Director.
In 2017, while the company expanded its leadership with the addition of Chief Promoter Dharitri Patnaik, the core mission remains deeply influenced by Parthiv’s unwavering determination. Dharitri Patnaik
Chairperson
Dharitri Patnaik is the Chairperson of DESPL, bringing with her a rare combination of global insight and local leadership. She holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University, USA, and has led several large-scale projects across international and national development organisations. At DESPL, she oversees Operations, Planning and Organisational Development, ensuring strategic alignment, governance, and sustainable growth.
Dharitri has been internationally recognized for her social impact work, and honoured by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India as a leading woman entrepreneur. She is also the Founding Chair of FICCI FLO Bhubaneswar, championing women’s leadership and entrepreneurship across Odisha. She represents India in Women 20, G20’s engagement group on women’s economic empowerment.
Parthiv S. Mehta
Founder & Managing Director
Parthiv Mehta co-founded DESPL in 2009 with a vision to drive innovation in infrastructure and energy. An Industrial Engineer (BE) from R.V. College of Engineering, Karnataka, and an MS from The Ohio State University, USA, Parthiv brings deep technical acumen and strategic foresight.
He began his career at Hical Technologies, Bengaluru, followed by research work at IISc Bangalore. In the U.S., he worked with 3SG Corporation and later with Constellation New Energy, one of North America’s largest power utility firms, where he was part of a backend operations team managing over $3 billion in annual revenue. At DESPL, he leads overall business strategy, project execution, and technical innovation and finances.
Shivam Patnaik
Director
Shivam Patnaik has played a key role in vendor development and project execution, especially in the Odisha region. With a Commerce degree from Utkal University and experience in real estate, trading, and infrastructure, Shivam brings hands-on knowledge of the ground realities that shape Diversified Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd’s operational success.
Silalipi Pattanaik
Independent Director
Silalipi Pattanaik serves as an Independent Director, providing oversight and guidance in Administration and Corporate Affairs. A law graduate (LLB), she contributes to DESPL’s governance framework and regulatory compliance, ensuring ethical standards and operational transparency across functions.

Samarjit Mohanty anchors our leadership team as the President of Innovation, Power, Energy, Water & Irrigation at Diversified Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. An accomplished Chief Executive Officer with a distinguished career history in the utilities industry, Samarjit brings a wealth of expertise in electricity distribution, community engagement, and strategic business turnarounds. He is a high-caliber business development professional, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
Manoranjan Rout
Chief Financial Officer
Manoranjan Rout holds an MBA in Finance, equipping him with a solid grounding in financial systems and regulatory frameworks. With 20 years of experience, he has handled direct and indirect taxation along with corporate finance functions. His capabilities include financial reporting, compliance management, tax planning, and budgeting. He is well-versed in preparing financial statements as per statutory requirements. He also manages banking relationships and credit structures, ensuring financial stability and compliance.
Manoj Kumar Panda
Chief General Manager-Business Development & Contracts
Manoj Panda is a B.Tech Electrical Engineer with nearly three decades of experience in power distribution and infrastructure development. He has played a pivotal role in implementing Distribution Franchisee models across DISCOMs in Odisha. His strengths lie in business expansion, stakeholder coordination, and utility management. He also has hands-on exposure to infrastructure execution and restoration of electrical networks after natural disasters. His strategic approach contributes significantly to business growth.
Suryanshu Preetihar Majhi
Chief General Manager Operations
Suryanshu Preetihar Majhi holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from VSSUT Burla and is currently pursuing an MBA from IIT Patna. He brings over 16 years of experience in delivering large-scale EPC and PgMC projects across various sectors. He is certified in PgMP®, PMP®, and GPM-b®, reflecting global project management proficiency. His strengths include project execution, planning, and team leadership.
Biranchi Narayan Jena
General Manager Business Development-Infra
Biranchi Narayan Jena is a B.Tech Civil Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the construction sector. His exposure includes residential, commercial, and institutional developments. He has strong capabilities in site execution, coordination, and supervision. He is also proficient in quantity estimation and BOQ preparation. His ability to translate design concepts into practical execution adds value to project delivery.
Rajesh Kumar Bhoi
General Manager Energy
Rajesh Kumar Bhoi is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with 17 years of experience in power distribution and EPC projects. He specializes in operations and maintenance of electrical systems. He holds certification from the National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Ministry of Power, Government of India. He is also a recipient of the India’s Great People Manager Award. His leadership enhances efficiency and performance in energy operations.
Sanjay Sahoo
General Manager Operations
Sanjay Sahoo holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering and has 18 years of experience in the construction industry. He has managed complex project lifecycles with a focus on operational efficiency. His key strengths include workflow optimization, quality assurance, and site coordination. He is adept at handling large teams and challenging site conditions. His contribution ensures smooth and timely execution of projects.
Bibhuti Bhusan Sahoo
General Manager Finance and Accounts
Bibhuti Bhusan Sahoo holds an MBA in Finance from Fakir Mohan University and a B.Com from Utkal University. He brings over 16 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation. His knowledge includes project accounting, statutory compliance, and NGO financial management with FCRA regulations. He has worked across diverse sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, and education. His role ensures strong financial governance and compliance.
Sagar Majhi
General Manager Procurement
Sagar Majhi holds an MBA in Material Management and has more than 19 years of experience in procurement functions. His exposure covers civil, MEP, and equipment sourcing. He has strong capabilities in vendor development, contract handling, and supply chain coordination. He consistently delivers cost efficiencies while maintaining quality standards. His contribution strengthens procurement systems and project timelines.
Chittaranjan Mohanty

Chittaranjan Mohanty holds a Bachelor’s degree along with a PGDCA and ERP training. He has over 20 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management for construction projects. His expertise includes sourcing strategies, vendor handling, and contract finalization. He is proficient in digital tools such as MS Office and ZOHO ERP. His role ensures timely availability of resources and operational efficiency.
Chiranjeeb Biswal
Head of Billing
Chiranjeeb Biswal holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering and has over 9 years of experience in billing and project execution. His skill set includes quantity surveying, RA billing, and rate analysis. He is familiar with CPWD/PWD standards, IS codes, and measurement practices. He also handles delay analysis and EOT documentation. His attention to detail ensures accuracy in financial and project records.
Shradhanjali Panda
Head Human Resources
Shradhanjali Panda holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and has over 6 years of experience in HR functions. Her responsibilities include recruitment, payroll administration, compliance, and employee engagement. She effectively leads the HR and Administration team. She also coordinates the Managing Director’s office operations. Additionally, she oversees CSR initiatives and employee wellness programs.
Prakash Behera

Prakash Behera is a B.Tech Mechanical Engineer and a certified Primavera P6 professional. He has over 13 years of experience in planning and monitoring infrastructure projects. His expertise includes scheduling, cost tracking, and resource allocation. He has contributed to projects in refineries, power plants, and industrial sectors. His structured planning approach ensures timely project completion.
Samarjit Samant Singhar
Head- Planning Electrical
Samarjit Samant Singhar is a seasoned B.Tech Electrical Engineer with over 14 years of experience in large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects, including power plants and steel industries. He has expertise in generation, transmission, and distribution systems, as well as utility infrastructure like WTP and STP. Samarjit specializes in quantity surveying, RA billing, and item rate analysis per CPWD/PWD norms, with a strong proficiency in EOT claims and delay analysis. Skilled in MS Project and AutoCAD, he combines technical precision with cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.
Kanaklata Dhir
Head, Accounts
Kanaklata Dhir holds an M.Com and an MBA in Finance, with over 13 years of experience in accounting. She has strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and accounts management. Her experience includes handling construction project finances. She ensures accuracy in financial records and reporting. Her work supports transparent and efficient financial operations.
Kedarnath Behura
Head Vendor Management Cell & Manager Accounts
Kedarnath Behura is CMA (Inter) qualified and holds an M.Com degree. He has over 8 years of experience in finance and accounting. His specialization includes GST, taxation, and compliance. He also leads the Vendor Management Cell, handling vendor payments and dispute resolution. His role ensures smooth coordination and financial control.
Niranjan Behera
Manager Accounts
Niranjan Behera holds an M.Com from Utkal University and has cleared CA Final Group I, progressing towards Chartered Accountant qualification. He brings over 11 years of experience across manufacturing, service, and construction sectors. His expertise includes GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, balance sheet finalization, and cash flow management. He is also proficient in MIS reporting and working capital management. He consistently delivers accurate financial insights and supports effective decision-making.
Akansha Mishra
Legal Officer
Akanksha Mishra serves as Legal Officer at Diversified Energy Solutions and is also an Advocate at the Odisha High Court. She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law with exposure to International Law, providing a strong legal foundation. She brings experience in policy development, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters, including her tenure at Ernst & Young (EY). She has actively worked with NGOs on human rights and environmental protection initiatives. Her expertise supports legal governance, risk mitigation, and organizational compliance.
