Education and skill development are key drivers of socioeconomic transformation. In collaboration with Humara Bachpan Trust, this initiative focuses on expanding access to opportunity for marginalized youth living in urban poverty.
Through targeted outreach and support, the program identifies youth and adolescents from under-resourced communities and connects them with technical and vocational training systems. The goal is to equip them with industry-relevant skills and support their journey toward becoming skilled or semi-skilled professionals across multiple trades.

CSR Initiative: Sambhavi Suruchi
Empowering Women Street Food Vendors
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, Diversified Energy Solutions Private Limited (DESPL) is proud to support Sambhavi Suruchi: Swada & Swabalambana, a social enterprise initiative implemented by Humara Bachpan Trust in Bhubaneswar.
The initiative addresses the challenges faced by women in the informal food sector by enabling their transition into organized, dignified, and sustainable micro-enterprises.
Through DESPL’s CSR support, women street food vendors receive structured training in food safety, hygiene, and business management; vendor registration and branding under a unified identity; and essential support kits to elevate service standards. In its first phase, 50 women vendors have been onboarded, with plans to reach 200 in a phased manner.
By investing in capacity building, entrepreneurship development, and market linkages, DESPL is fostering inclusive urban livelihoods — ensuring that women who have long sustained families through informal work are recognized, supported, and empowered to grow with dignity and financial security.
